My Profile Page

What This Page Does

Lets users maintain profile, contact, bio, home address, photo, skills, availability, credentials, hours, recognition, emergency, demographic, volunteer-visible organization custom field, and volunteer-visible program custom field information. Account security, login, privacy, connected access, and personal usability preferences live in Account Settings. Birth date is required so AidOrbit can calculate age-dependent readiness without asking users to maintain a separate age range. Program Leaders should keep mobile phone current because badge templates can use it as the program contact phone.

How To Use This Page

  1. Open My Profile.
  2. Use the navigation or tab indicators to spot required profile actions such as a missing name, missing email address, missing birth date, missing Program Leader mobile phone, or required home address.
  3. Look for the Shared platform-wide indicator on name, email, phone, ZIP, home address, and profile photo fields; those account fields follow you across connected organizations and programs.
  4. Write a short bio when you want coordinators to see it in the About section of your volunteer profile.
  5. Complete required contact, birth date, and required organization or program custom field actions first; optional ZIP, photo, demographic, and non-required custom field values can be left blank when that is intentional.
  6. Use Account Settings from the user menu for two-factor authentication, email, password, privacy, connected access, display, language, accessibility, dashboard, and alert preferences.
  7. If the organization requires home address, enter street, city, state or province, postal code, and country so reporting and emergency coordination have complete location data.
  8. Answer organization-wide or program-specific custom questions when your organization or program has made those fields visible to volunteers; hidden fields are maintained by authorized staff on the volunteer profile.
  9. Program Leaders should add a mobile phone when it should appear as the program contact phone on badge templates.
  10. Use the Photo tab to take or upload a profile photo; in the Android app, allow camera access when prompted before taking a new photo.
  11. Use Skills & Availability to maintain skills and schedule windows that programs use for matching.
  12. Use Credentials & Compliance to complete training, background checks, guardian consent, certifications, and credential locker items.
  13. Use Hours & Recognition to log or review service hours and recognition records.
  14. Save the profile update and confirm the indicator clears after required information is complete.
