Reports Hub Page

What This Page Does

Shows the main reports hub, scoped analytics cards, recent export audit history, scheduled reports, disaster after-action reporting for eligible Programs, and the Google Data Studio connector setup for organization reporting datasets and leadership report templates.

How To Use This Page

  1. Open Reports Hub.
  2. Review the available report, analytics, export, schedule, or connector workflow.
  3. Confirm the active organization or program scope before interpreting metrics, downloading exports, or issuing connector access.
  4. Use Preview on a prebuilt report before downloading; if report-specific data is not available for the selected Program, review the inline preview status instead of assuming the click failed.
  5. Use Open AidOrbit Connector to launch the maintained Google Data Studio connector URL, then create a reporting-only key when Google Data Studio prompts for AidOrbit access.
  6. Use Google Data Studio connector only when an Organization Leader needs a reporting-only key for the private AidOrbit connector; store the one-time key securely and rotate or revoke it when access changes.
  7. In Google Data Studio, choose a Program Leader, Organization Leader, or Organization Staff report template when one matches the question; otherwise create one data source per approved dataset and blend them with stable IDs such as program_id, location_id, mission_id, shift_id, volunteer_id, and signup_id when cross-dataset correlation is needed.
  8. For Disaster Response / Emergency Management Programs with after-action reporting enabled, use the incident summary or after-action report to review Program-scoped Mission, assignment, attendance, approved-hour, and incident counts without exposing sibling Program data.
  9. Download report CSVs only when your role includes export permission; view-only report access does not allow direct CSV downloads.
  10. Review Recent Exports when you need to verify the exact scope, filters, or audit timing behind a download.
  11. Use Escalate report when a metric, export, or report issue needs Program Leader or Organization Leader review.
  12. Open the relevant report workflow and confirm the result.
