Messages Page

What This Page Does​

Provides an email-client style Messages workspace with Personal Inbox, Shared Inbox, persistent Drafts, scheduled Outbox, Sent, Archive, address book recipient groups, program staff shared mailbox recipients, tokenized To/Cc/Bcc recipient entry, individual recipient selection or exclusion, send-as identity, reply all, and channel-specific compose for email, SMS, and in-app messages.

How To Use This Page​

  1. Open Messages from the main navigation.
  2. Use the Messages subnav to switch between Compose, Shared Inbox, Personal Inbox, Drafts, Outbox, Sent, and Archive.
  3. Choose Personal Inbox for direct messages to you or Shared Inbox for messages addressed to Program Leaders and Program Staff.
  4. Use the two-column message view to scan messages on the left and read message details in the preview pane on the right.
  5. Use Compose to choose Send as, enter the labeled Subject, then work in Recipients. Recipients defaults to Individuals for specific people.
  6. In Individuals mode, type a name or email in To/Cc/Bcc, choose autocomplete suggestions, press Enter or Tab to commit a typed email, paste comma- or semicolon-separated addresses to create recipient chips, or open Address Book to choose listed individuals.
  7. Switch Recipients to Audience to show available audience lists, or open Address Book to choose audience lists and {Program Name} Staff shared mailbox recipients.
  8. Use Send as to choose your name or any program staff shared-mailbox identity granted by your Program Leader or Program Staff assignment. This is independent of the address book recipient you choose, and messages sent as Program Staff still show the actual staff sender in the staff-visible conversation.
  9. Select one or more channels, and write the dedicated Email, SMS, and In-App message bodies shown for the selected channels in the full-width composer.
  10. Save the message as a server-side draft, send now, or schedule it for later.
  11. Use AI Assist where the current plan allows it; AI SMS creation from email content requires Orbit or Galaxy.
