How To Use This Page

  1. Open Volunteer Profile from the roster, global search, or a linked volunteer record.
  2. Use Overview to scan the volunteer photo, contact details, trust indicators, hours, completed Missions, active programs, structured Interests / Causes, skills, certifications, availability, upcoming Missions, completed Missions, emergency contact, badge state, profile photo tools, and ICS roster profile.
  3. Look for the Shared platform-wide indicator on the volunteer photo, name, email, phone, and address fields; changes to those account fields can appear across connected programs and organizations.
  4. Use Message, Edit Profile, More, or Escalate volunteer only when your role has the matching action available.
  5. Use Quick Create > Log Hours to choose a volunteer from the roster and open this Record hours form directly.
  6. Use Record hours to open a focused service-time form for the date, hours, assigned program, plus-ones, notes, and proof files.
  7. Use More > Archive volunteer or Edit program info when a volunteer should no longer be active in a program; enter the archive reason so it is saved to that volunteer's program-specific notes.
  8. To reactivate an archived volunteer, look up the same profile, set the program status back to Active, and enter the reactivation reason.
  9. Use Org and Programs to review and edit organization custom profile fields, then review each program section for membership details, program custom fields, and program-specific notes.
  10. Use Activity History, Skills & Availability, Credentials & Compliance, Readiness, Hours & Recognition, and Demographics for the focused profile workflows.
  11. Use Staff Notes & History last when you need timeline activity, tags, staff-private notes, custom fields and documents, household relationships, communication history, or duplicate candidates.
  12. Confirm custom fields, staff notes, history, and program-status changes refresh on the profile and remain scoped to the active organization or program access.
