Program GoodNearby Configuration Page

What This Page Does​

Manages only the selected program's volunteer-facing GoodNearby configuration, previews, publishing state, program public copy, program contact details, and public page settings after at least one program exists. Mission-specific GoodNearby visibility is edited from the Mission editor.

How To Use This Page​

  1. Use the global program selector in the left navigation to choose the program scope.
  2. Open GoodNearby Site after the organization has created a program.
  3. Confirm the page badge matches the globally selected program; change programs from the global selector instead of selecting a program inside this page.
  4. If no program exists yet, start from Programs Overview or use Organization GoodNearby Site for organization-level public content.
  5. Use Program profile copy for the card/search summary and the longer About this program description; use Program hero overrides only when the top banner needs a headline or intro that differs from the profile copy.
  6. Use GoodNearby Site to update public display name, public slug, Program Leader-prefilled contact information, per-field contact visibility (name, email, phone), program branding where the plan allows it, marketplace visibility, search indexing, and external sharing. Open GoodNearby Site > Media Library for program gallery photos, and open GoodNearby Site > Pages for custom GoodNearby pages, navigation categories, nested navigation groups, rich page bodies, external links, and page-specific galleries.
  7. Open the Mission editor to publish or hide a Mission on GoodNearby, set the publication audience to Public or Private to approved program volunteers, adjust public titles, descriptions, location visibility, signup mode, search indexing, marketplace discovery, and sharing controls.
  8. Preview and publish the selected program page when the public copy and Mission visibility are ready.
  9. Open Organization GoodNearby Site from Organization navigation only when you need organization-level branding, profile, custom pages, navigation, signup defaults, SEO, domain, analytics, or site-wide publication controls.
  10. Return to Program Settings when you need to change ownership, volunteer visibility, Mission location rules, or badge settings for the selected program.
