1. Overview
AidOrbit provides volunteer, Mission, and operations coordination software. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
2. Information We Collect
We collect account and profile details (such as name, email, phone number, organization affiliation), service usage data, device and browser information, support interactions, and information you submit through the platform.
AidOrbit uses Google Analytics on the public website and inside Mission Control. Google Analytics helps us understand page views, scroll depth, outbound clicks, file downloads, site search, video engagement, form interactions, route usage, button clicks, feature adoption, performance signals, and runtime errors. We do not intentionally send Google Analytics your password, payment card details, free-text form values, email address, name, or volunteer eligibility document contents.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to operate and secure the service, manage accounts, deliver Mission and staffing workflows, provide support, process billing, and improve platform reliability and safety.
Analytics data is used to understand whether public website content, branded portals, and Mission Control workflows are usable, reliable, and relevant. For authenticated users, AidOrbit may associate analytics events with non-public internal identifiers, role categories, organization counts, and program scope so we can diagnose adoption, usability, and reliability by workflow without storing names or email addresses in Google Analytics events.
4. Operational Notifications Consent
By creating or actively using an AidOrbit account, you consent to receive notifications directly related to service operations, including Mission updates, task assignments, readiness and safety alerts, account security notices, support case updates, and billing or payment events.
These notifications are strictly operational and are not marketing communications. AidOrbit does not treat operational notifications as promotional messaging.
5. Data Sharing
We share data with service providers only as needed to run the platform (for example, cloud hosting, payment processing, and transactional messaging). We do not sell personal information.
6. Data Retention and Security
We retain data only as needed for service delivery, legal obligations, and security/audit requirements. We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your data.
7. Your Choices
You may update your account details, manage notification preferences where available, or contact us to request account support regarding your data.
You can also use browser privacy controls, cookie controls, and supported Google Analytics opt-out tools to limit analytics collection. Some operational analytics may remain necessary to secure, debug, and operate Mission Control.
